What is Revanesse Versa used for?

When it comes to facial fillers for minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, there are many to choose from. One of our favorites here at Face by Fisher is Revanesse Versa. This hyaluronic acid-based filler is excellent for fine lines, wrinkles, and folds in the skin that age the face such as nasolabial folds. Read on to learn more about this filler type.

More about Revanesse Versa

It uses unique ball-shaped particles which help it be more easily absorbed as well as last longer within the body. Revanesse Versa works by providing deep hydration right to the source of the problem with hyaluronic acid (more on that below). Revanesse Versa also fills out the skin, stretching it just enough that wrinkles and folds are straightened out and less visible. It can be used to help nasolabial folds (laugh lines) along with moderate to severe wrinkles.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a component found naturally in skin that helps keep skin hydrated. In turn, this keeps skin plump and youthful. It is constantly being produced. As skin ages, it doesn’t produce new hyaluronic acid as quickly as it did before, resulting in skin that is lacking in hydration. Like a dried-out leaf, dry skin doesn’t look its best.

When will I see results with Revanesse Versa?

Your appointment should take about 15 minutes depending on how many areas are being filled and if any other procedures are being done at the same time. Results are visible immediately.

How long does Revanesse Versa last?

As with all fillers, the procedure needs to be done again every so often to keep up results. In general, results can be expected to last up to six months. The exact length of time depends on the area the filler was placed. An area of the face with only a little movement will hold filler longer than an area of the face that experiences a lot of movement. Results on nasolabial folds last up to 12 months. Once you notice wrinkles or folds beginning to show more, it’s time to schedule your next filler session.
