Chin and Cheek Implants

Facial Implants are surgical procedures in which permanent implants are placed in the face to fill out features, restore “sunken” areas, or provide visual balance.

Chin implants (Chin Augmentation)

A certain size and shape chin implant is picked to enhance the patient’s face and it is inserted into a pocket over the jawbone. The incision can be made just under the chin or intra-orally. In the latter case, the stitches will dissolve and minimal scarring will be left. Chin implants can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

Cheek implants

Cheek implants can help contour your cheekbones and give them a more youthful look. These implants are placed through hidden incisions. When cheek implant surgery is performed in conjunction with a cosmetic procedure such as a facelift, the implants can usually be inserted through the incisions already made. This procedure usually takes about an hour.
